Welcome to the homepage of UCI QuarkNet!

UC Irvine QuarkNet joins UC Irvine physicists with high school physics teachers from the greater Los Angeles and San Diego areas. The program includes lectures from UC Irvine faculty and researchers, demonstrations, trips to particle physics laboratories, such as SLAC, discussions on science and pedagogy, labs, and the construction of cosmic ray detectors and other demonstrations to be used in high school physics classrooms.
