Title: Transplanckian Physics

Abstract: Recent developments both experimental and theoretical on transplanckian physics. Experiments hinge on the possibility of measuring polarization. Theory on how to parametrize the ambiguities characterizing the vacuum in deSitter space. Are some of the effects forbidden by analyticity and causality? Two sides of the issue will be presented: a) arguments against visible effects of transplackian physics in CMBR. b) arguments for possible (still difficult to see) effects in CMBR.
