Title: Clean
Unitarity Triangle and a whole lot more at a Super-B Factory
Abstract: The asymmetric
B-factories have performed impressively and provided a valuable test of
the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa paradigm of CP violation. Compelling
arguements though suggest that additional CP-odd phase(s) must exist
due to physics beyond the Standard Model. More precise tests for this
crucial search are therefore extremely desirable and require a Super-B
Factory. Such a machine would yield clean and very accurate
determination of all three angles of the unitarity triangle and also
enable stringent searches for CP asymmetries in a host of modes where
the SM predicts negligble effects. Thereby it should provide a wealth
of information on issues that are as fundamental to Particle Physics as
the origin of matter in our universe. For these reasons it would be a
serious mistake if the remarkable success of the current B-factories is
not vigorously followed up by the construction of a Super-B Factroy.
