Speaker: Chris Quigg, Fermilab

Title: Two Short Subjects: New States Associated with Charmonium; Cosmic Neutrinos & Relics

Abstract: I will profile the states recently discovered above charm threshold, explore the influence of open-charm channels on charmonium, and set new targets for experiment. (ii) I will review the essentials of ultrahigh-energy neutrino interactions, show how neutral-current detection and flavor tagging can enhance the scientific potential of neutrino telescopes, and present new results on neutrino encounters with dark matter and on gravitational lensing of neutrinos.
