SPICE is a software package that calculates decays widths of supersymmetric models incorporating lepton flavor violation. It interfaces with SOFTSUSY to generate the sparticle mass spectrum, and it depends on SUSYHIT to calculate non-flavor violating decays.

In order to run SPICE, you will need to download the SPICE v1.2 package here. You will also need the SOFTSUSY program and the SUSYHIT package.

Installation

Installing SPICE is designed to be a simple procedure. First, ensure that you have downloaded and compiled SOFTSUSY and SUSYHIT. Note that the SUSYHIT initialization file susyhit.in must be altered to specify a user-defined input spectrum rather than the SuSpect spectrum SUSYHIT uses by default (see the README for details). Second, download the SPICE package here. Then, unzip the spice.tar.gz file, run the enclosed Makefile, and type "bash CalcDecays". For specific details, please see the README.
